Primary Health system
The State Healthcare System operates on a three-tier structure of Primary, Secondary and Tertiary care. The Gombe State Primary Health Care Development Agency develops policies, strategies, guidelines and programmes that provide overall direction for effective Primary Health Care service delivery.
Immunization
Through resource mobilization, partnerships and community-based financing initiatives, the GSPHCDA strengthens functional health facilities and ensures that infants are fully immunized against vaccine-preventable diseases such as polio before reaching twelve months of age.
Maternal and Child Health
The GSPHCDA is committed to the survival and wellbeing of every child and the safe delivery of pregnant women across the state, working with multisector partners and communities to improve access to quality maternal and child health services.
